TV Questionnaire

TV Questionnaire

Pick 5 TV Shows you like before reading the questions:

  • Once Upon A Time
  • Doctor Who
  • Big Bang Theory
  • Two Broke Girls
  • How I Met Your Mother

1. Who is your favorite character in 2?

I miss Rose… but I think I liked Cassandra more xD

2. Who is your least favorite character in 1?

Regina. Definitely her. I mean, after Sunday’s episode, I can understand her a little more, but for Christ’s Sake, Snow was just a little girl and didn’t know any better.

3. What’s your favorite episode of 4?

Oh… that’s a hard one. Kind of like Oleg xD Erm… I’d have to say that my favorite episode was when they went to the prison to see Caroline’s dad.

4. What is your favorite season of 5?

THIS ONE. Fuck, so much stuff is going on!! I feel like it’s going to end soon. My reasoning is like… I feel like they’re cramming so much stuff into this season. It’s like, *shoves ALL the drama to you* /end series.

5. What’s your favorite relationship in 3?

Oh c’mon, it’s definitely Penny & Leonard. Although… I kind of like how awkward Amy & Sheldon are.

6. Who is your anti-relationship in 2?

Hmm… well I want to say The Doctor and any companion he’s with, because women now-a-days just fall for the first man (or man-like creature) that will give them attention, but if I had to choose, I’d say Rose and Mickey. (The reason why it’s just Rose & (insert name here) is because I’m not very far into the series yet.)

7. How long have you watched 1?

Since the first episode!! LOVE THAT SHOW.

8. How did you become interested in 3?

I honestly don’t know. It just always seemed like such a funny show, and when my cable was cut off, this was the only thing I could watch that had a clear picture xD

9. Who is your favorite actor in 4?

I LOVE Kat Dennings, but I’m gonna have to say Jennifer Coolidge. She’s HILARIOUS.

10. Which show do you prefer 1, 2, or 5?

UGH. You can’t make me chose my favorite shows. Those are my three!! >.< I guess… if I had to chose, I’d say Once Upon a Time, but it literally goes 1, 2, 5 in order of favorites.

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of 1 or 3?

That’s a hard one to decide on. I’ve seen all the episodes of 1, but I’ve seen a LOT of 3… I’d have to say 3.

12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Max. She’s got great boobs.

13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 5?

Dude you’re fucking kidding me right now, right? Barney is inVINcible. He’s legen — WAIT FOR IT, AND I HOPE YOU’RE NOT LACTOSE INTOLERANT BECAUSE THE LAST PART IS — dairy! But I guess he’s just get an STD and die. xD

14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?

Oh, definitely. Caroline Channing wants to go back to school so she hires Sheldon to tutor her… or Max wants to be an actress and she talks to Penny…? xD

15. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.

Hmm… I’m not sure!! There are still plenty more characters to be introduced. I wanted to say Graham and Emma, but clearly that won’t work. Probably Regina and Mr. Gold. I ship them anyways for some odd reason.

16. Overall, which show has the better cast, 3 or 5?

How I Met Your Mother (5).

17. Which has the better theme music, 2 or 4?

DOCTOR WHO! (2) The TARDIS landing is my text message alert, and the theme song is my general ring tone. :3

This is why white kids are mad that Rue is black.

rafi-dangelo:

It’s social conditioning from birth.  Black = bad.  White = good.  Period.  There’s no discussion necessary.

Black Doll, White Doll Experiment

That’s not isolated.  You can view scores of “white doll / black doll experiment” videos with the same results every time.

I’m not just upset that little white kids are mad that Rue is black.  It’s the broader implications that exhaust me. It’s the fact that those kids are admitting to being less sad that she died in the movie because she’s black. It’s the fact that those kids grow up to be adults who vote and serve on juries. It’s the fact that they will be less sad as adults when little black kids die. It’s the fact that little black kids get shot and nobody gets arrested for it.

If you missed The Hunger Games controversy, these are the basics [spoilers, if you don’t know the plot].

I dunno… I mean, obviously, I agree 100% that we’re conditioned from birth to perceive light=good/dark=evil, but in the movie, her skin was dark. Be that from the lighting on sets or that she was actually dark, but that picture makes her look lighter than she is. She’s an African American girl. She’s not half and half, she’s just… African American. I really don’t think the difference between light skinned African American vs. dark skinned African American matters in this context. She’s an African American girl. Period, point blank. I really hate all the racist comments going on. People don’t read, and that’s why there is such an uproar over it. She was clearly described as a dark skinned girl. Dark skinned is SO MUCH DIFFERENT than “a tan girl”. Predominantly, in books in the past, in a nicer way to say, “She was a little black girl” authors have sugar coated it to say, “She was a dark-skinned girl”, to ease people into the idea. It’s not right, but it happens.

peenisseverlark:

Due to the recent slew of hate tweets that have been effecting actors Lenny Kravitz and Amandla Stenberg, mainly from irate “fans” who are claiming that their own races should have stifled either of them from playing the role they had been cast for in the very anticipated Hunger Games movie, I decided to do some digging to go over the written creed (Suzanne Collin’s own descriptions from only book 1 of The Hunger Games trilogy)

Excerpt 1; Cinna page 63

The door opens and a young man who must be Cinna enters. I’m taken aback by how normal he looks. Most of the stylists they interview on television are so dyed, stenciled and surgically altered they’re grotesque. But Cinna’s close cropped hair appears to be its natural shade of brown. He’s in a simple black shirt and pants. The only concession to self alteration seems to be metallic gold eyeliner that has been applied with a light hand. It brings out the flecks of gold in his green eyes.

Excerpt 2; Rue page 98

“I throw my spear which I’m not too bad at actually if I don’t have to throw too far and see the little girl from District 11 standing back a bit, watching us. She’s the twelve-year-old, the one who reminded me of Prim in stature. Up close she looks about ten. She has bright, dark eyes and satiny brown skin and stands tilted up on her toes with her arms slightly extended to her sides, as if ready to take wing at the slightest sound.”

Excerpt 3; Rue page 234

“I move in closer to her, pulling her head onto my lap. I gently brush the dark, thick hair back behind her ear.”

Extra Excerpt; Thresh page 126

“The boy tribute from District 11, Thresh, has the same dark skin as Rue, but the resemblance stops there.”

Clearly there is nothing here that says any of these characters could even be hinted to be white.

Cinna is such an ambiguous character that he could be a blue, young, handsome alien with golden eyeliner for all we know but his skin color isn’t defined when Rue and Thresh’s clearly are, dark, satiny brown.

Read the descriptions again you go make an ass out of yourself by patronizing them for not being white.

I’m so filled with hate, but for all the different reasons. I hate people. I hate how cruelly you could judge a person for their race. I hate how cruelly you could judge a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL for playing a WRITTEN CHARACTER, who, if you ACTUALLY READ THE BOOKS, is fucking PERFECT. Clearly people can’t read, clearly people see what they want to see, and clearly this world deserves to end if people still think the way they do. I have no faith in humanity if people are getting angry over a little black girl who, BY THE FUCKING WAY, ACTED BEAUTIFULLY AND PORTRAYED AN AMAZING CHARACTER FLAWLESSLY. Screw you all, I hope you’re all the first to go if this world ends.
